Press/Photos/Video: The Spy Who Dumped Me – Official Trailer

The official trailer for Lionsgate’s action comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me has been released, as well as new posters featuring leading ladies Mila Kunis (Bad Moms) and Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live) as unexpected international spies. Check out The Spy Who Dumped Me official trailer and posters in the player and gallery below!

Audrey (Kunis) and Morgan (McKinnon), two thirty-year-old best friends in Los Angeles, are thrust unexpectedly into an international conspiracy when Audrey’s ex-boyfriend shows up at their apartment with a team of deadly assassins on his trail. Surprising even themselves, the duo jump into action, on the run throughout Europe from assassins and a suspicious-but-charming British agent, as they hatch a plan to save the world.

The title, The Spy Who Dumped Me, is an obvious take on The Spy Who Loved Me, the tenth film in the James Bond series, starring Roger Moore, Curd Jürgens, and Barbara Bach. That film’s title, of course, comes from Ian Fleming’s novel The Spy Who Loved Me, the tenth book in the series, though the plot was different. Peter Kang and Geoff Shaevitz and Imagine’s Erica Huggins and Julie Oh are on board to oversee the film.

Also starring in the comedy are Outlander’s Sam Heughan, Justin Theroux (The Leftovers), Gillian Anderson (The X-Files), Hasan Minhaj (The Daily Show), and Ivanna Sakhno (Pacific Rim: Uprising).

The Spy Who Dumped Me is slated for release on August 3, 2018.

Press/Photos: Outlander Renewed for Seasons 5 and 6

Better get working on building Fraser’s Ridge, Jamie: Outlander isn’t going anywhere, seeing as how Starz has given the historical drama another two-season renewal.

The premium cabler will bring back Outlander for Seasons 5 and 6, TVLine has learned, echoing the supersized pickup the series got for Seasons 3 and 4.

The drama, based on a series of novels by Diana Gabaldon, will continue to follow the one-book-per-season formula it has used since its start. Seasons 5 and 6 will unfold over 12 episodes each and will be based on The Fiery Cross and A Breath of Snow and Ashes, respectively.

Starz also announced that a 12-episode Season 4, which is currently shooting in Scotland, will premiere in November 2018.

Press/Photos/Video: As Jamie Fraser in ‘Outlander,’ Sam Heughan was destined to live in grief

As the leading man of an epic love story, in this case Jamie Fraser in Starz’s “Outlander,” Sam Heughan has more than shown viewers his romantic side. But to live a life apart from his destined love required the actor to channel grief rather than romance.

The first half of the third season of the time-traveling drama explored the two decades that Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) lived apart after he sent her to the future (the 1940s) to raise their baby. For Jamie, who was expecting to die in the battle of Culloden but didn’t, the ensuing years of coping with love lost was a battle of emotions.

Heughan, on a short break from production overseas on the fourth season, stopped by The Times studio recently to discuss the approach he took in bringing weight to the pain.

“It’s the different stages of grief, really,” Heughan said. “He goes through anger, sadness … eventually acceptance. Each episode was so strong, and he’s such a different character … but he’s still living in the memory of Claire, living in the shadows.”

Though Claire is raising their daughter in the future with her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies), viewers still got a glimpse of Jamie as a father — albeit a restricted glimpse. He comes to father an illegitimate son, Willie, who he helps to raise temporarily. And he also becomes the stepfather to two daughters.

“He’s always wanted to be a father figure,” Heughan said. “It’s something he yearns for.”
