Barbour released a Merry Christmas video with Sam. I’ve added the video below and screencaps to the gallery. I’ve also added a missing photo session to the gallery. Enjoy!
Outlander Star Sam Heughan Shows You How to Be Rugged as Hell This Holiday Season
Are you one of those city dudes who buys his Christmas tree from a lot? Or are you of a more rugged sort; the type of guy who purloins his trees straight from the source—in a forest, using nothing more than a hatchet, a dog, and some artfully styled heritage wear. Apparently Sam Heughan, star of the hit series Outlander, is the latter.
At least he is when he’s filming a commercial for Barbour’s winter collection, anyway. The ad, which features the Scottish actor in a host of Barbour goodies—including a parka, a flannel shirt, and some very heritage-y fingerless woolen gloves—makes a great case for not only buying clothing from the classic English brand, but also for spending your holidays in a remote, wooded portion of the British Isles.
But if you’re like most of use, the only hiking you’ll be doing this Christmas season will be schlepping from the parking garage to the mall. May as well look good doing it, though. Check out Barbour’s full winter collection at barbour.com.

Sam and Caitriona were in attendance today at the 2016 BAFTA Scotland Awards. Both were nominated in their respected categories of best actor and best actress for their work in Outlander. Unfortunately Sam did not win in his category but Caitriona did!
I’ve added a few photos of the two at the event as well as screencaps from the awards of them presenting and of Sam during Caitriona’s acceptance speech. To see what Caitriona had to say about Sam during her speech be sure to visit our Facebook page as I have added the video there!

As you may recall, Season 2 of Outlander was heavy — especially when Jamie and Claire were living in France.
Their marriage was tested time and time again. Between trying to stop the Jacobite rebellion, dealing with great personal loss, and Jamie’s hair choices, they were really put through the wringer.
And in an exclusive look at a deleted scene from that dark time, we see them — once again — remember how much they love each other, even when Jamie’s headed to a brothel.
As Jamie’s leaving their ritzy Paris abode, Claire overhears him asking Fergus about a specific lady of ill repute. Which, like, come on, Jamie. Fergus is 11.
But it is, per usual, all Bonny Prince Charles’ fault. And Claire, knowing how high the stakes are, sends her husband off with love. Because, as you may also recall, they always find their way back to each other.
For more deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes extras, check out Outlander Season 2 on digital release Oct. 31, and on DVD and Blu-ray Nov. 1. And for book readers, the Amazon Exclusive Collectors Edition will include a new excerpt from Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, the upcoming ninth book in the Outlander series.

We may have to wait many more months for more Outlander, but we don’t have to wait any longer to see new footage of Sam Heughan’s face.
The star of the epic Starz drama is here in this clip, exclusive to E! News, to welcome you to Culloden for the first day of Outlander season 3. Click play above!
Season two ended earlier this year with pretty much everything having changed. We learned that after Claire (Caitriona Balfe) had gone back to her own time, she and Frank (Tobias Menzies) had raised her and Jamie’s daughter, Brianna (Sophie Skelton) together until Frank’s death.
Then, on a trip back to Inverness to mourn the death of Reverend Wakefield, Brianna learned about her true parentage and Claire learned that her husband did not die on the battlefield at Culloden.
What we did not see, however, was what did happen at Culloden after Claire left, and it looks like that’s exactly what we’re going to see when Outlander returns in 2017.
Starz announced back in June that the series would return for both a third and a fourth season, spanning both Voyager and Drums of Autumn, the third and fourth books in Diana Gabaldon’s beloved series.
Not much has been announced about the upcoming seasons, but a very important character has been cast. Australian actor David Berry will play Lord John Grey, who we’ve already met as a teenager, but will now meet as an adult. He’s so important in the Outlander world that he has his very own Lord John book series.
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got to watch that clip above a few more times…for research.
